NFEC Accreditation and Certified B Corporation Status
Independent Standards for Education and Social Impact
NFEC’s IACET accreditation and Certified B Corporation status reflect two complementary commitments: quality continuing education and accountable, mission-driven business practices. Independent review helps educators and partners understand the standards behind the organization’s work.
IACET Accredited Provider
The National Financial Educators Council is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). It offers IACET Continuing Education Units for learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.
This accreditation addresses the processes behind quality continuing education, including learning design, delivery and evaluation. Successful completion of the current CFEI® course offers 4.8 CEUs, representing 48 professional development hours.
B Corp Certification
Financial education and economic empowerment are central to NFEC’s mission. As a Certified B Corporation, NFEC equips educators and advocates with training and resources while committing to responsible business practices.
B Corp certification evaluates a company’s effects on workers, customers, communities and the environment, alongside accountability and transparency. NFEC’s public-benefit commitment connects its educational work with that wider responsibility.
