How the NFEC Serves CFEI Candidates
NFEC supports CFEI® candidates as they build the skills and confidence to teach personal finance. The program combines structured online study with guidance, professional connection and opportunities for continued development.
Support is part of the course experience: candidates can seek help with their training, learn from expert-led sessions and connect their development with their financial education goals.

Help When You Need It
We provide multiple layers of support so you can always get answers and keep your training on track:
Live Training Webinars & Community Connections
NFEC’s main course information includes optional live Friday training sessions and a personal consultation with the program director. These opportunities complement self-paced study with discussion, questions and professional connection.
Advocacy Committee Community
As a CFEI® candidate, you’re also invited to connect with the NFEC’s Advocacy Committee community. This network of educators and leaders is united around a shared mission: raising awareness and expanding access to financial literacy education. By joining during your training, you gain the chance to collaborate with peers, exchange ideas, and see firsthand how others are putting financial education into action.
Participation also builds momentum for your future role as a credentialed educator. Even before graduation, you can engage in NFEC campaigns, contribute your perspective, and start positioning yourself as part of a national movement that values credibility and impact. Becoming active in this community while you’re enrolled helps you build connections, strengthen your voice, and prepare to step forward with confidence once you earn the CFEI®.
